Best Battles in We Can Be Heroes | Netflix Family

We Can Be Heroes is a family-friendly superhero adventure directed by Robert Rodriguez. The story begins when Earth’s mightiest superheroes, known as the Heroics, are suddenly captured by alien invaders. With their parents gone, the responsibility of saving the world unexpectedly falls on the shoulders of their children, each of whom has inherited or developed unique abilities.

The main character, Missy Moreno, does not have superpowers herself, but she proves to be a natural leader. Determined to rescue her father, Marcus Moreno, she unites the other children, helping them believe in their strengths. Among her companions are Guppy, the daughter of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, who can control water and unleash shark-like powers; Noodles, a boy with elastic limbs; Wheels, a brilliant strategist with incredible strength despite being wheelchair-bound; and A-Capella, who can manipulate objects through the power of her singing voice. Other young heroes include Rewind and Fast Forward, twins with time-control abilities, Slo-Mo, who moves at an unusually slow pace, Wild Card, who possesses countless powers without mastery, and several others with quirky, creative gifts.

Together, the children escape government custody, face off against alien forces, and discover that teamwork and trust are more powerful than any single ability. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about courage, responsibility, and embracing who they are.

In a surprising twist, the aliens are ultimately revealed not to be villains, but rather testers ensuring that the next generation of heroes is ready to take charge. The Heroics’ children succeed in proving themselves, showing that they are capable of leading the future.

With its colorful visuals, lighthearted humor, and inspirational themes, We Can Be Heroes delivers an entertaining message: true heroism lies not only in superpowers, but also in unity, creativity, and leadership.
