Blood Trails (2006) is a survival horror thriller set almost entirely in the remote wilderness. The story follows Anne, a young woman who works as a bike messenger in the city. Wanting to reconnect with her boyfriend Michael, she joins him on a mountain biking trip through a secluded forest. During their journey, Anne confesses a troubling secret — she once had a one-night encounter with a police officer named Chris. Unbeknownst to them, Chris has followed the couple into the forest.

The trip quickly turns into a nightmare when Chris brutally murders Michael, leaving Anne alone and terrified. Now hunted, she must rely on her wits, endurance, and the rugged terrain to evade the relentless killer. Chris pursues her through dense woods, steep trails, and dangerous obstacles, injuring her physically and tormenting her psychologically.
The tension escalates as Anne’s desperate attempts to find help fail, and every encounter with strangers becomes another deadly trap. In a final confrontation, she turns the tables on her pursuer, using the environment as a weapon. Blood Trails combines the vulnerability of isolation with intense chase sequences, making it a gritty and visceral tale of survival against a sadistic predator.
