You Don’t Mess With the Zohan is a comedy film directed by Dennis Dugan and starring Adam Sandler as Zohan Dvir, an Israeli counter-terrorism operative. The film follows Zohan, a highly skilled and fearless secret agent, who fakes his own death to escape the violent and dangerous world of espionage. His ultimate goal is to pursue a new life as a hairdresser in New York City.

Upon arriving in the U.S., Zohan quickly begins working at a small salon owned by a feisty Palestinian woman, Dahlia (Emmanuelle Chriqui). Despite his unorthodox methods and his history in combat, Zohan becomes a highly successful stylist, attracting a loyal clientele with his eccentric techniques.
However, Zohan’s past catches up with him when his former nemesis, the villainous Phantom (John Turturro), resurfaces, threatening to disrupt his new peaceful life. Zohan must now balance his desire to live a quiet life with his past life’s demands, all while dealing with cultural clashes, personal relationships, and the absurdity of his situation.
The film is filled with slapstick humor, over-the-top action sequences, and satirical commentary on cultural differences, with a central theme about the possibility of change and finding peace in a world of conflict.
