Octopussy (1983) is the thirteenth film in the James Bond series, starring Roger Moore as Agent 007. The story begins with the mysterious death of MI6 agent 009 in East Berlin, who was carrying a fake Fabergé egg. Bond is assigned to investigate and discovers that the real egg has surfaced at an auction, purchased by the villainous Kamal Khan, an exiled Afghan prince.

Bond follows Khan to India, where he encounters Octopussy (Maud Adams), a powerful female smuggler who runs a circus troupe. As the investigation deepens, Bond uncovers a plot by Khan and Soviet General Orlov to steal priceless Soviet treasures and replace them with fakes to fund a nuclear weapon scheme. They intend to use Octopussy’s circus to smuggle a bomb into a U.S. military base in West Germany, framing the West for an attack, which will provoke disarmament calls and pave the way for a Soviet invasion of Europe.

With Octopussy’s help, Bond foils the plan, culminating in a high-stakes chase across India and a thrilling aerial battle. Bond and Octopussy succeed in neutralizing the bomb and defeating Khan and his accomplices, saving the day once again.
